The animated series
The animated series is based on the books written by Colin Dann. In the UK, The Animals Of Farthing Wood aired in the early 1990s on the BBC. The BBC released VHS video tapes soon after the series finished. The VHS tapes were feature length and there were nine available, as follows: The Journey Begins, From Copse To Quarry, On To White Deer Park, The Challenge Of Winter, Friends & Enemies, New Beginnings, New Dangers, The Rise of the Rats and The Wanderers' Return. These tapes are now quite hard to get hold of. However, you can sometimes find them on Ebay or Amazon. There is also a DVD available which contains the complete series.VHS Tapes
